Bluesynergy is like a tasty N'awlins gumbo; the sound is a synergy of various styles. Start cookin' with some Chicago and Texas blues. Next, add a dash of reggae a la Bob Marley, some rockabilly a la Johnny Cash, some classic rock favourites and maybe some psychedelic Pink Floyd. Serve it up family jam band style and throw in a few originals to spice up the mix.
 

Sandy MacDonald fronts the band on guitar and vocals. He is best known throughout Southern Ontario for his work with the legendary Beirdo Bros. (1979-2006). Highlights of their career include dates in Germany for the Canadian Armed Forces, festivals in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and an appearance on "The Elephant Show", an international children's television show with Sharon, Lois and Bram. Currently, Sandy performs at a wide variety of venues and events both as a solo artist and with various groups. The Kitchener Record calls him "one of the areas most popular club musicians".
 

Joining Sandy will be Sue Windover on vocals. She is a singer/songwriter who recently recorded in San Francisco. Some of her original material is available on You Tube. The band also includes Ross Whitney on electric bass and Dave O'Neill on drums.
