Classic Car Show attracts car lovers
If you love cars, then you will love the Classics that will be on display at Ribfest in Guelph August 29 and 30 at Riverside Park (dubbed Ribberside Park for the weekend).
A favorite show with car owners because of the beautiful location in a grassy area surrounded by trees along the Speed River that winds its way through the park, the Classic Car Show regularly attracts more than 300 vehicles.
The vehicles will be on display and judged between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30. The trophy and 50/50 Draw winners are announced at 3:30 p.m. on the Main Stage on both Saturday and Sunday.
“We have a full spectrum of vehicles on display,” says Gregg Mitchell, of the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium, the club responsible for organizing the annual Ribfest.“Everything from the modern to the exotic as well as 20-plus years old.”
The cost to enter the show is $4 per vehicle and no advance registration is required. The show is sponsored by the RBC Financial Group.
